I got tired of Anthro’s prices and typed in ‘stores that are like anthropologie’ and found it about six months ago. Have you tried their stuff? I haven’t ordered anything yet. I adore so many of their items it is hard to choose. Right now I would have to say the Marcella Ballet Flats are at the top of my list. I can’t wear heels so I am constantly looking for cute, versatile shoes and these are perfect.

I am such a huge fan of the sky high organic cardigan… I bought it and love the versatility of the sweater. It can be worn as a tie-front or trailing down, or as a wrap. It’s fantastically different, and brings a new aspect of style to any outfit.
Also, it’s organic, so you know non of those pesky toxins are entering my system, and was created from cotton fibers grown by ecologically responsible farmers.
My favourite song right now is “Love is All We Have” by Jesca Hoop, a tribute to New Orleans after Rita and Katrina. It’s a beautiful, haunting ballad telling of the destruction of Katrina, and calling for hope for restoring the city, through love and prayers. In the end, love is all we have to get us through trials. It’s a universal truth.

I have been shopping at Ruche for almost a year now and I ADORE it. My favorite items are their dresses, they are so flattering and vintage and I always get compliments when I wear them out…the jewelry is also very cool and affordable, I usually go for the larger and bolder items, like the “chiffon blooms ribbon necklace” or their charm necklaces, always cute with a solid plain tee!

But my two favs are the Rustic Faded Peep Toe Heels (very doris day!) and the Rocket Dog “Mellowmut Earth” eco friendly flats. Hello! Oh my goodness, how do I pick? I’m currently ogling the Pink Studio Valonia t-strap shoes in Tan; they are so simple yet so cute! I think they’d make any outfit feel more polite and natural- or more librarian-ish!

My absolute favorite item from Ruche is the Ruffle Tulip Dress… it’s amazingly versatile (can be worn as a dress or shirt, over or under a shirt or even on its own) and playfully chic.
Also, currently, there are two songs that are tied for my favorite! Eek! 🙂 haha. The first: “Broken” by Lifehouse–it makes you yearn for passion and you can almost feel the heartache in the song. The second: “Won’t Stop” by OneRepublic–it reminds me of a certain boy who makes me smile just thinking of him…and the song basically tells the tale of how we met! So cute 🙂
