Hope.

While I believe that there is still deep seeded racism in the hearts of some Americans….I believe that MLK Jr. would be grateful for the progress we, as a nation, have made. He would feel justified in the hope he had.
Whatever you may feel about the inauguration of our 44th president tomorrow, I believe that it is a monumental day in America.

My prayer for my child is that she grows up KNOWING (not just believing or hoping) that ALL men are equal.

No man is smarter because of their color.
No man is more equipped because of their color.
No man has better chances.
No man is loved more.
No man means more or can do more.

All are equal.
