Walk Across the Room

Get the book "Walk Across the Room" by Bill Hybels.

I have been reading it because the small groups at our church are going through it right now.

What insightful literature on a new idea, about an old command.

It's our job to share the gospel–not just preachers, teachers and leadership heads.

As Hybel's seminary professor (Dr. Gilbert Bilezikian) so aptly states:

"True followers of Christ who really get it right, give themselves to people. Most importantly, they give themselves to pointing people to faith in Christ. That is the highest and best use of a human life-to have it serve as a signpost that points toward God."

What a honorable (albeit overwhelming, when we really comprehend it) task that we have!
